Parvum Parva Decent

Horace, Epistles 1.7.44-45 (tr. H. Rushton Fairclough):
Small things befit small folk; my own delight to-day is not queenly Rome, but quiet Tibur or peaceful Tarentum.

parvum parva decent: mihi iam non regia Roma,
sed vacuum Tibur placet aut imbelle Tarentum.
The same, tr. Colin Macleod:
The small scale fits small men: not mighty Rome
for me now, but leisured Tibur, or tame Tarentum.
